the tracks one these two cds have been formulated so they work either on their own or in unison.
if you have access to two cd players, you can play both cds simultaneously to create hybrid tracks.
if you choose to play the two cds simultaneously, you don't necessarily have to play them from
beginning to end. played on their own, these cds contain a total of 80 minutes of music;
but playing them together, 264 minutes of unique music can be created from the 33 possible
combinations of tracks. all tracks are eight minutes long, contain minimal rhythmic elements,
and are in related keys, so any track on one cd can be successfully combined with any track
from the other cd (although you may find some combinations more pleasant than others).

note: environmental sound modules one and six (procyon and ixia) have been included on both discs,
as they blend particularly well with the other tracks.
